Is a knife that "locks" legal to carry in Chicago regardless of the blade length?

Going downtown Chicago today for a trip to the Art Institute. Will this little Buck Vantage Pro be enough to keep me safe?

I really like these folders whose blades are just under 3" long. They're a really handy size. Never overkill, rarely underkill. But they do sometimes leave the pinky hanging...

I'm not sure, but believe me, the cops have better things to worry about here.

Likewise, the expressway speed limits here are 55, but you won't get stopped for going less than 80...

Shout out to all my Clinch Pickeurists. Here’s mine sitting on a bonsai tree my father’s wife wanted out of the house; probably because it is more of just a shrub. I will start cutting it back in the spring.

Yesterday was sort of a special occasion; so I went with the satin infi RMD. I took that picture at about 1am...I'll be carrying the same knives today; so I'll get a better shot of the sheath.
*I'm not going to claim that I managed to keep those Milky Ways with me all day. I literally only carried them from the Halloween supply to where I was taking the picture...and ate them as I walked away. The fate of props
