I am east of Toronto and turning 50 and have never had a cop ask to see a knife...

P.s. the idiot you had the pleasure of dealing with would have been roasted in court if he took your knife. He likely read about the CBSA ruling and had absolutely no clue about actual local laws...

Brent, I can't believe it I'm 68 now.:eek: Time sure goes fast. I was standing watching the Canada Day Parade he spotted the clip and approached me, and says let's see the knife. I pass it to him and he then proceeds to try and flip it open. Sure lucky it wasn't one of my Benchmades Caly3.5 or Stretch as they would have flicked out I'm sure. :rolleyes:

Yeah, I know, not so many years ago I would have put up a debate, but I had a stress-related heart attack prior. So since then, I try to take the path of least resistance which is hard to do for a good ole boy.:cool::D

Crazy, but I guess at a big event like Canada Day we pay these guys to keep us safe. Super weird though. Maybe they got a tip and were looking for a guy carrying a knife....

ha ha could be, although I was standing with my 4-year-old grandson and I clean up real nice once I have a shower. :p Maybe it's the mustache left over from my biker days.:cool:
