Nice really niceI switched up this afternoon, although the 247 is still in my pocket. I was reminded that I posted in the knives with holes thread and got out my 710-1401 modded with gorgeous Keyman Desert Ironwood Holey scales. I've been a little frustrated with the knife as it's a BM with a drifty pivot and for some reason the LockTite just wouldn't set on it despite numerous cleanings with swabs and alcohol and overnight dry time. I finally disassembled again, cleaned the pivot with acetone, reassembled, LockTited, put it in the drawer, and kinda forgot about it. Seems fine now and I think it's gonna stay put.
It finally stopped raining this afternoon--wetest Fall I can recall--and I actually got some fresh pics.

Oh yes it does! As Boxer said it’s awesome! Well worth the price. On top of it all it’s extremely accurate.
What's it called, the model of it?
Compound grind edge?
The darker area above the edge is the exposed Super Blue steel. The edge itself is just very slightly convex, and sloppily maintained with low level freehand sharpening & stroppingCompound grind edge?
Thanks for the kind words. That Stretch just wasn’t getting the pocket time it deserved over here. Glad you’ve got it back and will enjoy it!The darker area above the edge is the exposed Super Blue steel. Where it looks like a funky grind above the edge itself in that shot, that’s just where I buffed the patina off rubbing it against the strop.
Just got it back after it spent some time with another cool member who I respect greatly,ScooterG , so I couldn’t resist touching it up & pressing it back in to service. This stretch has been around the block!
Who are you responding to? Maybe the wrong section? Or quote them.Imho an assisted or an auto isn’t even good enough. A folding knife has to be waved in my opinion and then a reverse wave draw has to be practiced until it is second nature. (Regular wave draws the knife into a weak grip).
I can actually get a waved folder reverse waved faster fron my pocket than an iwb fixed blade because the fixed blade is typically under my shirt, which I have to move out of the way to access the handle.
However nothing is faster than a fixed blade where that isn’t an issue of needing to clear clothing to get it.
