This just arrived and pretty nice all around plus she is sharp too
Petrified Fish PF719 with Sandvik 12c27 blade
It came with the round leather cord, I retied it into three snake knots and put a whipping knot near the end of the knife to prevent it from flipping up into the area of the blade.

I really dig that big ol' Texas Toothpick... beauty!:thumbsup:
🙏 Thanks! She sure is pretty. My good friend WValtakis WValtakis hooked me up.
I was a little worried it would be too big, but it just melts in your hand and tip control is like second nature.
She’s a keeper.

Z Zeroedin , glad to hear your doing so well with your recovery from hip surgery.   I was much the same after my hip replacement some three years back--I felt so much better than before only a few days after my procedure. This knee thing, on the other hand, is one long, grueling process, and the rehab exercises and manipulation tortuous. I am getting better day-by-day though there is kind of an up and down path to improvement. My docs and PTs tell me I'm doing great and way ahead of the curve, so I sure would hate to be even or behind. 😩

Anyway, back on topic, after going with back-to-back Biryukovs over the weekend, I'm starting weekdays with consecutive CKFs--yesterday carrying and posting the MILK and today with my SSE. I'm not the biggest fan of most of their designs--I had a Sukhoi some years back that I pretty much hated--but I really like these two I have now for function, quality, and appearance.

It was a quick grab-n-go morning that found me pocketing the small Sebenza for a brutally hot and muggy Tuesday afternoon.

Last time I carried this knife I remember kickin’ back on the couch in my manly-pajammies later that evening, pausing the TV, turning to my wife and asking “Wtf is that thwacking sound coming from the dryer?”

She shrugged, I shrugged…..and we went back to our ice cream and binge watching “Criminal Minds”.

Lesson learned. I do a full-blown pocket dump before stripping down for my evening shower now (apologies for any visual that may have just popped into your head).

On a positive note: I will say….the “Bounce” does lend a nice, fresh “springtime” smell to Micarta.
