I haven't been any less busy than the last few weeks and these upcoming weeks don't look to be any different, but today I did manage to sneak away and go for a peaceful walk along the beach; as well, I'm still carrying the franken Benchmade 943 I made because I haven't been able to put it down yet (943BK blade in a REI exclusive 940-1702 green G10 handle)!

Lockside love, showing a few things. The ‘Massdrop’ branding and steel marking is hidden when the knife is closed. The only visible text is “R. Laconico” on the spine. This angle also shows that the knife has a bit of a traditional silhouette. With this much of the ffg blade exposed, it’s easy to do a traditional style, two hand pinch open without a nail nick being necessary. Slow opens aren’t something I usually care about, but it’s an option.
