EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Back from our camping trip, and couldn't have asked for a better time. The weather cleared up for a window surrounding our trip, campfire ban lifted just days before, sunset colors were popping, and generally just had a wonderful time. The wind (which can get pretty crazy on this lake) even died down for it to be flat while my son and I kayaked all the way to the opposite end of the lake (5 miles), and then picked up just a little to be at our backs for the return paddle. Amazing!

It occurred to me that the back of these Alox limiteds could serve as a date stamp for a photo. Fitting for the sun setting on this 2021 season.

They are all great, but the last one is really outstanding - with Flash no less ! Spyderco should hire you for product photos :)

Many thanks my friend! I'm actually using a little handheld LED photo light made by a company called Aputure. This little thing is great for knife shots, especially out in nature where I'm often trying to capture a view that puts my knife in a shadow. Fits right in the carrying case of my little compact Sony RX100 too :thumbsup:

Yea, that was a beautiful scene. It was a good 15 minutes after the sunset (and a good hour and a half after the sun had dipped behind the mountains) and we were already getting the fire started when we noticed the colors and ran down to the lake to enjoy it and grab some photos.
