EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Absolutely! Those are my sentiments exactly. I overlooked it myself at first but finally bought it at a significant discount when it was discontinued, and it impressed me immediately. On top of all that, the action is one of the smoothest I've ever experienced. Like uniquely smooth in a way that's hard to explain, but addictive to feel. I don't give it enough pocket time, but every time I go to sell it I open and close it a few times and change my mind. I really do need to get some new scales made for it so I can get it in the pocket more, it's only that I have so many project ideas in the queue of my brain ahead of it. The double layered scales make for some interesting options for customs as well. Could probably get by with just getting the outer ones done.

I started on a set.of python micarta and screwed up!! Hard to find anyone who makes some for it!!! Eventually!!IMG_20200614_125506.jpg

Day Three with the Southard Tolk, clipped in my work shorts pocket for a morning wellness visit with my PCP as was planning to head to the lumber yard after lunch. K finally got his Escape running and I got my truck back after he had it over a month. It took me quite a while to get it cleaned out, re-organized, sorting through the tools I'd kept home and re-packing those, as well as checking the tires and re-airing, so I never did make that run for the rest of our roof repair project's materials.

Here's a pic of the Tolk showing the standoffs I re-installed shortly after receiving the knife Wednesday...

...and a couple more I shot this afternoon.

I finally tied up a lanyard just before and after supper, but didn't manage any decent pics. There's always tomorrow and I'll most surely have this one on me again. If you're thinking I really like the knife, well, you're not wrong. 🤗
