EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Think I’m going to have to rename my vacations to knife-cation 😁
Fresh out of the box Demko AD20.5 dealer exclusive D2 blade steel . Love it !!
The color is called FDE but knew going in it wasn’t From the dealer and other reviews. But I love this color I like to call moss green 👍🏻
Also the presentation on these are so impressive and definitely add to fun factor and unboxing .

First full day with the Mini Tempest. I have to agree with @TenShun705, it does feel a bit smaller in the hand than the numbers might lead you to believe…which suits me just fine.

Now, I gotta be honest; this is my first front flipper and I literally had to pull up videos on proper “technique”. I’ll admit to still being a wee-bit clumsy opening the blade.

Actually, that would be kinda overselling myself. I look like grandpa trying to navigate a Comcast remote to get to the Netflix app on a smart TV. It’s slow, painful to watch and makes ya’ just want to reach over and grab the damn thing outta my hand.

I’ll get there though, it’s just gonna take some work….and maybe a small investment of “blood equity” on my part.

They really need to add the option for multiple reactions for posts like these.

Entertaining as always man.

I carried my HAP40/SUS410 Endura for PakkaWood Wednesday and spent the afternoon doing demo and bagging the results at my basement project.

I shot these in the back of my pickup this morning and was surprised to notice the pitting on the lock lever and liners toward the front of the handle when I was editing the pics. One of the things that I found most attractive about these variations on classic Sydercos was the contrast between the wood scales and the wicked flush F&F of the multi-pieced, bright, stainless spines. I was a bit bummed about the pitting and just before writing here spent time polishing out what turned out to be small scratches and dents that discolored at their depths. They're still slightly visible, but better now and have become light beauty marks on a very useful knife.

I'm not the biggest fan of Flitz as I can never seem to get it all off the metal when finished, but it did give a nice dark sheen to the chamfered edges of the PakkaWood and added a bit of luster to the flats which tend to look too dry and matte if the knife's not handled frequently. I think I'll carry this one again tomorrow and try to get some after pics as the nighttime, interior lighting here is not yielding presentable results.
