Pulled this one out today to remind myself to email Isham Bladeworks again. It’s a unique design and a beautiful knife, but there’s absolutely no semblance of “lockup” whatsoever….which makes it dangerous to use and relegates it to the role of letter opener/pocket jewelry.

The truly disheartening thing is that the company has failed to return any of my emails to see if anything can be done with the detent to keep the knife from closing during heavy winds.

Anyway, I’m going heavy on the pics this evening in an effort to get my money’s worth outta the knife, lol.

Why not contact WValtakis WValtakis either here, or in his hosted forum Chipped Metal if your not hearing anything back to your emails to the company. You know with Chip taking care of it for you it’s going to be fixed and tuned up correctly the first time with zero frustration or jerk around. That’s just too nice a knife to be regulated to just an unreliable letter opener.
