I've been waiting on someone to get one of these so I can ask how it is.
I took a chance getting it because I don’t hear about them much, but it’s impressive. The blade is laser sharp out of the box, very thick at the spine and comes to a nice edge. Ergos are solid, pocket clip is amazing with just the right amount of tension. Blade reminds me of a sturdier version of a shiro neon. All in all, no complaints, only thing to mention is the liner lock is flush with the scales, and that’s a trade off: it’s more secure for hard use that way but accessing it is tougher than it is on knives where there is a recessed area of scales that exposes it. But it isn’t as bad as say the Spyderco Bradley II.I've been waiting on someone to get one of these so I can ask how it is.
So how do you like it?
Hey, whooooaaaaaa, heeeeey, let's keep this party polite, we don't need these kinds of truth bombs dropped on people today.I decided to swap out the Gen 2 VG10 SS Lockback Spyderco Police in my pocket for a Gen 6 Hinderer XM18-3.5 20CV Recurved Black G10 Flipper.
The Police was only in my pocket for a week but I just received the Hinderer and I couldn't wait any longer to try it out.

Too many knives and not enough time to carry them all.![]()
Thanks for the feedback. In honestly the blade thickness was the only thing keeping me from it. I may have to check it out one day.I took a chance getting it because I don’t hear about them much, but it’s impressive. Edited to add: I foolishly overspent on mine. There are retailers offering versions of this in micarta $100 cheaper than I paid for mine.
You’d think the thickness might cause some issues but this thing moves through corrugated boxes like a hot knife through butter. Typically chonky blades get hung up more. It’s robust yet slicey. Thanks for the feedback. In honestly the blade thickness was the only thing keeping me from it. I may have to check it out one day.
