The limited editions were called the Aculus and were an exclusive to DPX. I believe they released two versions. The Aculus had slightly different milling. First edition was all black. Slick looking and I wish I picked one up!

Sharp & Fiery Sharp & Fiery , thanks for the info. I saw that the matte bronze was offered with the regular blade but couldn’t confirm the Damascus version was ever produced/sold by Lionsteel. I’m glad to know it’s not some Frankenversion, which was my original hesitation when I couldn’t find much info on it.

Haha, thanks! Pretty cool some others have posted their aculus' recently. I would have missed it if you hadn't pointed it out, so thank you. Not too many of them in the wild at this point. It is a really cool knife. Has its flaws, but once broken in it is pretty impressive. Always good to look at as well.
