Whoa are you feeling ok D?
roof built over a roof there?
This just arrived late today, a new Civivi Chevalier button lock. I have always liked a wharncliff or sheepsfoot and this one is quite nice. BUT, isn't there always one?Civivi has slipped in their sharpening as this one was amazingly bad, but a short time on my sharpening stones and the 14c28N is one wicked razor now !!! so heed my warning, if you get one, you might need to tune it up right away, hopefully not and mine was just a late Friday out the door kind of sharpening at the factory.

Started keeping an eye out for one of these a while back. I finally stumbled upon one at what I consider to be an exceptional price for an integral with Nichols Damascus. I just couldn’t pass it up.
I was, however, a bit hesitant because I still don’t know what the deal was with these matte bronze models. From what I understand the color was never officially offered by Lionsteel, but there was some sort of custom run produced around 2016. It doesn’t appear to have been an LE, I’m wondering if it was perhaps a dealer exclusive?
Anyway, I guess this one’s been sitting in the dealers inventory for the past 6 years and they wanted it gone…so I took a chance.
Happy I did. Beautiful blade and overall a very nice knife. Definitely needs some time to break in though.

I like that one! Know of any shops that carry it?
