EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

How is it going back to a small knife after using the Zaan for a while?
It’s different that’s for sure. However the truth is I really prefer a small pocket knife. I really am a one knife guy and a small knife fits that roll for me better then a large one.
When working in the office it’s perfect and out in the Shop / Facility I have lots of cutting tools available in my pouches and on my cart so alls good.
The Zaan will always be the knife I wish I had and needed but in the end it’s complete over kill and too large to be my pocket knife so this worked out just fine.

This has been on my list for a while and after stopping by a knife shop I just found out about the designers passing. I basically live under a rock when it comes to the news/media so I know I’m quite late on this - very tragic, way too young. Thus, I knew I had to get one before they’re gone. According to the salesman [I did not fact check] his designs, or at least the one’s carried by this brand, are being discontinued. Very unfortunate indeed.

Loving the knife though. Insanely light and very fidgety. Exactly what I’d expected. Will be carrying it for a while And it’ll definitely be in the regular rotation.

Even though this has probably been discussed/commented on as I’m about a month late on this news, I do request that everyone refrain from any speculation regarding his death. If anyone chooses to comment, let’s stick to the knives.

Operation baby room continues on this Shark lock Sunday. I'm amazed that my wife hasn't gelled at me about flicking this thing yet. I thought about aftermarket scales for the knife but the grivory just makes it feel like it's made for work. So I'm not sure what I'll do now.

When we had my daughter her room was filled with art that my mom made for her. With the arrival of my son we won't have the same since my mom passed away. But this dresser was hers as well as some other furniture that I'm restoring so my son can still get to experience things of his grandmother's.
