I love Mora knives. ❤

I have used this one to prep firewood. I haven't taken it to a stone yet. It strops back to hair shaving sharp.
I trimmed down the forward finger protection and wrapped the handle in jute, and wood glue. Jute and wood glue work very well for grip. It is something that I have experimented with and have had great results.
You can make the grip extra grippy by different wrap methods, or by simply using more wood glue.

Don't knock it until you try it!!

For Throwback Thursday it's the BMK TSEK (Tactical Safety Equipment Knife)--really just a Gen2 AFCK with a different blade. This one's 440C and came to me wicked sharp several years ago from a member who was a big time vintage Benchmade collector that's not around here much anymore. The blade was partially sanded when I received it, the seller before mine never having finished his task, and it's half high gloss and half fine sanding marks. With the gloss towards its wicked edge it just flies through most any material it's put to.
