EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

You touched on another part of the problem - how it actually feels, besides how it looks and performs. There aren’t many places around here where I can go and put hands on the nicer stuff. There’s one in NH that I might get to once a year, but nothing nearby. $100 on something that doesn’t feel quite right is one thing - that would be easy to unload. But I’d have a really hard time plunking down $500 or more on something sight unseen. Maybe as I get more into this and get to see and feel a lot more than I have up to this point, my limits will broaden. I’ve had pocket SAKs and the like for as long as I can remember, but it’s only very recently I’ve gotten more serious about blades. No question I’ve caught the bug, and I’ve seen tons of stuff here in just the last few weeks that I really like, but at this moment I have no idea what I want next or what that special piece is that I’d be willing to pay more serious $$$ on.

This is true. I have owned a Busker and a couple Wayfarers. All got sold because the ergo’s just didn’t fit my hand.

There are a lot of folks who Olamics do fit their hands though! And Olamic makes a very good knife.

The good thing with Olamics is that if you end up not liking it, it’s not a hard sale to make. In fact, there are a couple gentlemen here on BF that loooove Olamics, and there is a good chance they would take it off your hands if it didn’t work out. :)

Swapped the Evo Grip 14 for a Colt black G10 canoe with Ti coated T10 carbon steel blades for a different spear point knife.
Rough Rider RR1569 Moose with black G10 covers and Ti coated T10 carbon steel blades.
Marbles MR431 black canvas Micarta D2 sowbelly stockman.
SAK Mini Champ
The belt carry stays the same: SAK Hercules and Leatherman Charge+ TTI. The Toferner neck knife stays too.View attachment 1847643
The Colt and Rough Rider are "heavy duty". The blade stock is a full 1/8 inch, rather than the "normal" 1/16 inch.
