Today's carry. Starting to really dig carrying the Lil Matriarch. Love my Chaparral, couldn't get a pic of the leather belt sheath I have for my PM2 cause, well, it was on my belt. Forgot to pic my Super Tinker.

I was recently going to start a thread about "We have an EDC thread, but what's your TRUE every day carry?" and this is very close to what I immediately reach for, along with a SAK, a Matriarch 2/Lil Ma, and a Leatherman Wingman or Wave.

Time for another EDC change.

Have been carrying a Spyderco Emphasis (bottom) "value folder" for a couple of weeks, which I prefer to the Tenacious, but it is a bit fat/heavy in the pocket.

So, I decided to go w/something thinner/lighter but also still inexpensive and chose an Artisan Cutlery Shark (top) which I think is one of Artisan Cutlery's better designs. Black textured G10 scales, a pointy 4" D2 blade, deep pocket clip w/blue colored s/s liners.

Yeah, it's Chinese made but it's cheaper than the G10 8Cr13Mov Emphasis, which is also made in China, and it really doesn't get much better than this at this price point.

Really like the slender shape and frame highlights. Nice piece!

I always love your photos, Chip, because I never know what you'll post and it's so often a knife I've never heard of with a mechanism I've never seen before.
