Phillip Patton is the maker, and he is here on bladeforums under that name. He does fantastic work with his damascus patterns and his grinds are pretty remarkable. The wood on this one is from a ziricote blank I sent him, and this knife is 1 of 2, with the other being slightly larger.

Thanks for sharing the additional photos. They are a stunning pair. The work is fantastic, cool damascus patterns and the ziricote is really lovely.

A well used and occasionally abused Wingman Spar-K watching my 6:00 for a “Too Many Pics Tanto Tuesday”.

On a side note, when I used to play golf this was my typical view the course. I’d be deep in the trees, waaay the eff out of bounds and 50 to 75 yards from the nearest fairway….and there always seemed to be water standing between me and the green. Fun stuff.

Needless to say, I no longer play golf.

Bonus pic: on my way back to my car I tried to gently usher this corn snake off the asphalt and back into the woods. Little pisser turned all crazy-ass aggressive and came after me. Not sure if was my startled jump straight up in the air or my ear piercing scream that caused it to change course. Regardless, it did what I wanted it to do….so I’m kinda feeling like a snake whisperer right now….

new (to me) Civivi Conspirator button lock, stonewashed 3.48" Nitro-V blade, cuibortia wood scales. great action, drops shut at a moderate tilt off horizontal. I like how the top clip screw doubles as a scale screw and goes into one of the black standoffs in the black skeletonized steel liners.

shaves Post-its, too.

I like the Conspirator a lot. I've got the Micarta version. Nice and thin behind the edge, and Civivi did a nice job with that Nitro-V.
