That was the texture straight from Emerson and it was the most aggressive g10 on any knife I've held. You might be able to find one second hand but this exact model of the mini roadhouse is out of stock everywhere. I think it may have been a limited run but I wouldn't quote me on that. Someone with more Emerson knowledge would be better for questions like that.
