EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Today we where going to a small beach by a lake. I found a custom fixed blade in a8mod I considered to bring.

We got to the beach, there were som really aggressive bugs there. We built a fire to get some smoke that could deive them off. There was lots of precut logs of wood in a fireplace there. I found tinder from a white birch, some kindling from dry sticks. I arranged the thickest logs at the bottom, and went to get the knife from my backpack, to split some of the thinner, but still to thick to burn, logs. The knife was forgotten back home.. along with matches, lighter and fire steel.

So today I didn’t carry a fixed blade, I didnt carry my new Crucarta PM2, I didn’t carry any of my SAKs and I didn’t carry any means to start a fire. But right now, three horseflies are flying around, carrying big chunks of my leg in their belly..

EDC Diet: I take lots of Fiber (Carbon Fiber) and an Orange (watch)!
1) On the left, Civivi Elementum with black-washed Damascus blade and gold-flecked, shredded carbon fiber scales;
2) To the right is a William Henry money clip with Mokume Gane frame and carbon fiber insert;
3) Then we have the orange Corniche "Heritage" quartz chronograph:
4) Right of the watch is the full custom slip joint by Joel Chamblin, with CPM 154 blade in a modified Wharncliffe pattern with harpoon swedge and lightning strike carbon fiber covers:
5) And the billfold is woven carbon fiber by Dunhill, London.

Gotta say, as someone who crosses over from the watch forums I do enjoy seeing your daily mix (along with all the other watches being posted as of late).

But the wallets are killing me. If I’m not careful I’m gonna find myself seeking out a “wallet forum”, which I assume probably exists (but for the love of god please don’t point me in that direction)…..and spiraling head first down yet another bottomless, money-sucking rabbit hole.

Then again, wallets don’t hold much practical appeal when ya’ got nothing left to put in them. I’m probably safe for the time being.

As always, great looking edc combo. Enjoy!

So you are saying finding secluded lakes with beaches is your new favorite hobby? 😂
