Been carrying this MAM, not fancy but it’s doing everything I ask of it, and very lightweight. Borrowed pic.![]()
I like the simplicity of this one, thanks for sharing the Maker, do you have the names of makers who make similar knives, the Italian or Portuguese makers. I have enjoyed seeing your collection.
So you are saying finding secluded lakes with beaches is your new favorite hobby?Today we where going to a small beach by a lake. I found a custom fixed blade in a8mod I considered to bring.
We got to the beach, there were som really aggressive bugs there. We built a fire to get some smoke that could deive them off. There was lots of precut logs of wood in a fireplace there. I found tinder from a white birch, some kindling from dry sticks. I arranged the thickest logs at the bottom, and went to get the knife from my backpack, to split some of the thinner, but still to thick to burn, logs. The knife was forgotten back home.. along with matches, lighter and fire steel.
So today I didn’t carry a fixed blade, I didnt carry my new Crucarta PM2, I didn’t carry any of my SAKs and I didn’t carry any means to start a fire. But right now, three horseflies are flying around, carrying big chucnks of my leg in their belly..
