EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Forest life is over. Bring your family home.
It's a pity I didn't take a lot of pictures of the camp. A few photos at the end.

Thank you for sharing your trip.

I put MXG satin deep carries on my 0452 and 0450 recently and they were huge improvements over the crappy factory clips both for looks and function. The new clip on the larger knife also gave me a better leverage point for disengagement. I was gonna ask about yours, but just found it at the MXG site. Did you flame it (and the pivot?) yourself? Looks really nice on the gold/bronze ano'd Ti.

This is what I brought on a long day-hike on Saturday, was a very nice trip. We were so into it, not a lot of photos were taken, but I did snap this shot of my knives on some wood.

I carved myself a very nice walking stick with the Shaman, very impressive how that M4 steel can just eat away the hard wood. I was having a lot of fun just biting into the wood, cutting ribbons and just torquing it off with ease... This was very pleasurable. Very strong and trustworthy edge here. When I got home, the blade still shaved hair. Had to ditch the stick towards nightfall in the woods, we were carrying too many things.

The Explorer was great for observing little bug activity and looking at the details of nature in general, bugs, plants, really nice to finally have a magnifying glass out there with me. I set it up like a "security camera" on the corner of Spider St. and Dendrophogist's Dr. watching insects as they came and went instead of chasing 'em around.

aAnd the David Mary Spearpoint is a classic standby fixed blade that's wonderful for eating/cleaning on the fly, want to try some woodcarving next time with it, I'm still trying out the knife, but so far, it seems to do a bit of everything pretty darn well, and looks/feels super fine doing it! Happy day.
