It's my first Maxace and I'm impressed. Fit and finish is excellent. The inlay is totally seamless. Lock up is solid, no blade play. Action is smooth and drop shut. Access to the lock bar is phenomenal. The only thing I really don't like is the wide chamfer inside the blade hole, which makes it a little tricky to thumb flick. Middle finger works great, though. Also don't love the brand name on the pocket clip, but not a big deal. Love the blade shape, and it's ground thin behind the edge (around .013"). Great sharpening choil, too. Thanks for the info... Time to search the web! How do you like it overall? I've not had experience with the brand.
Thanks J! I appreciate you brother, hope you and yours enjoy the extended weekend!Beautiful blade B......Hope you have a great weekend even though you have to work.....Be safe brother!!!
I fully understand what happened to you with the pocket clip. The same thing happened to meSmall 31 for a now officially recognized as a theme “Too Many Pics Tuesday”.
So this new clip was one of those late night, prescription induced “seems like a good idea at 1:30 am” purchases. Not gonna lie, it’s a bit spendy…..and I had a wicked-ass case of buyer’s hangover when I realized what I’d done the following morning.
Having said that, I’m diggin’ it now. I had beaten the crap out of the OEM clip recently and wanted to find a way to “punch up” the aesthetics of this one.

Speaking of aesthetics, be prepared for all sorts of fugly coming at ya’ in the days ahead. In yet another prescription induced buying spree I have a huge assortment of paracord scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Yep, I’m going next-level shit with this hobby now, and while I don’t have a clue what I’m doing I suspect every knife I own will soon be the benefactor of some form of wonky-ass looking tail-like thingamabob.
I mean, how hard can a few knots be, right? Bahahaha
