It's my first Maxace and I'm impressed. Fit and finish is excellent. The inlay is totally seamless. Lock up is solid, no blade play. Action is smooth and drop shut. Access to the lock bar is phenomenal. The only thing I really don't like is the wide chamfer inside the blade hole, which makes it a little tricky to thumb flick. Middle finger works great, though. Also don't love the brand name on the pocket clip, but not a big deal. Love the blade shape, and it's ground thin behind the edge (around .013"). Great sharpening choil, too.
Thanks for the input. This one is under serious consideration. They have a plain Ti one that may be calling to me.

So early last month I purchased a Native 5 Lightweight to try out it was going to be my carry for the month of September. Well after my month with the MBK Old Guard it only took half a day to realize that the Native just wasn't going to workout for me. So it went up on the exchange.

So my actual carry for the month of September will be my Ferrum Forge Stinger. It's appropriate that I get to post this on "Ferrum Forge, Flipper, Fuller, Framelock Friday"!

I fetched this little guy out of the back of the drawer this morning for a Fast-firing Finger Flipping Fun Friday (working on my alliteration game….per a few member’s subtle suggestions, lol).

It’s been well over a year since I had this knife in my pocket. Couldn’t tell ya’ why….it checks all my boxes. Just a great knife all around.
