Same Scale That's On This XM-24___

I went back through my pic files to see how the color of my Sheepsfoot scale showed up and indeed some have it looking very red and some darker, almost maroon. I found one shot where the light had the scale looking quite different end to end. I like the translucence a lot and I think Random Dan is definitely right about that quality yielding the difference in appearance of the same scale depending on the lighting. Looking through the offerings, at RHK and a couple dealers, I think that Hinderer only has Burgundy in Micarta anyway.

Here's one of my Red G10 taken on the deck of our Vermont camp a couple years back on the weekend it was first installed, looking dark and pretty much like yours above.
