EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I rescued this ZDP-189 Stretch from a friend this weekend, man he abuses things.
Cleaned it up, reprofiled and sharpened, installed a new clip as well.
All pretty again. :)
Decided to put it in my pocket today in case I needed it while I was out cleaning up some of my trails.

Carrying my Ranger with brand new beautiful burgundy micarta scales! I absolutely love it. Along with me Desert Ironwood p/e Dodo and Voyager XL Tanto... love the hollow-grind and gentle bluish patina of AUS-10A..

Showed my other newly-dressed Tinker Deluxe in my hand, too, though am not carrying that today, I love the maroon Terotuff! Looks almost like Denim.
Gotta figure out what color T&T need to go in there...

Commercial Diver Carry...
While overseeing a crew of commercial divers @ work today,
I noticed they were all carrying Spydercos, so l asked them to let me get a group photo. They were happy to oblige.
The Divemaster had pulled out a Smith & Wesson knife, to get in on the photo, but I told him to put that shit back in his pocket.
💩
🤣

He was quick to mention that he'd left his Spyderco in the truck!

Thanks! I just did a scale swap between the Wood/Coated and G10/Non-coated versions, plus Skiff bearings.

I really wish they'd do more non-coated wood combinations. I think it looks better. Sometimes, there are enough options available for a scale swap to make that happen. If not, I'll often pass. I took the time to sand the coating off the liners and hardware to get there with my Chevalier. I'm mostly happy with how it turned out but I'd really have to love a knife to want to do that again.

There are a bunch of mods I don't do because I'm not set up to do either media blasting or anodization at home. I'll get there one day. :)
Yea man that looks really good. I know, I was noticing this morning that they liked their coatings on that model, I have the same preferance as you.

Everytime I modify a knife it turns into a longer project then I initially think so I know what you mean. Ya know, I used to have a media blaster from harbor freight that I'd use for knife parts. If you already have a compressor, it was like 30 bucks or something. The gun and media they sell put a pretty sweet finish on my clips and stuff. The only problem is without a cabinet you can't really reuse the media.
