Growing up, I loved airplanes. Cars and airplanes posters in my room as a kid. Only time I ever got to fly is if my grandparents paid for me to visit them in Texas. Other than, we drove everywhere.
As an adult, I hate flying. Mostly because commercial planes are not designed with linebackers in mind. I'm 6'4" 260. It's a bulkhead or first class.
So many things we think are cool as kids but as adults feel otherwise. First trip in a helicopter changed my mind fast.
Hotel carry. Had to use my combat troodon to spread frozen butter and cream cheese on a bagel in my room. The flimsy plastic knife I grabbed from the hotel lobby literally bent 90 degrees with the lightest pressure.
