Decided to try something different. I swapped out the Ladder Damascus blade in the 21 for the brand new S35vn re-blade that was included... and oh mannnnnn I like this.

Not sure where those two sentences above came from that got tacked onto my quoted text in your post. Are they yours RLB0414 ?

FYI, my seaside is Cape Cod and I'm certainly not displeased with it. I'm just missing our northern woods, our camp, and our upper acreage with its hilltop meadow and long views of the White Mountains across the Connecticut River Valley. We've just had too much going on here for far too long to get to our change of scenery, altitude, and the peaceful remoteness of Vermont.

Yes, those are from me. For me sea is any body of salt water. Gulf or ocean on either Florida coast. As long as I can get to bodies of freshwater I am good.
The Northeast is one are of this country I have not visited. Some places I might really like and want to relocate to.
The acreage sounds awesome. I can certainly understand missing it. Sounds like it is time to check out the acreage again
