Happy Thanksgiving to my USA friends!!

I got in a tussle last night with a huge whitetail buck. Thought I was gonna get to use my knife and actually collect some meat this year but alas! After the collision, he got up and ran away. Did a number to the front of my truck to the point I cannot open my hood.

There were attempted evasive manoeuvres from both the buck and I, but final decision was to avoid the ditch and hit the buck. (The ditches here would cause a rollover)

It tis what it tis…it’s just a vehicle, and I’m still breathing so that is a bonus.

On a sidenote: My wife’s car was backed into in a parking lot last night, so a bit of a double whammo for us.

Decided to carry the new pair today. First time ever carrying a fixed blade.. I hate kydex. I hope Sharp & Fiery can make a sheath for this lil altitude similar to his Ember ones... one can dream.

Yeah the ditches around here can swallow cars easily. Sorry to hear about the bad luck. At least no one is hurt!

That the way I see it too. No one was hurt. It also wasn’t the most stressful thing I had to deal with this week.
