Shamwow day didn’t last long. I just picked this up today locally from an excellent bf member.

Safe and sound. Stock CRK grease removed edge made very sharp (this one came with a pretty good edge). This is my first insingo and 4th CRK.

I would really love to see a medium Sebenza but that looks like something we will never see.
Very nice! I too wish for that goldilocks medium Sebenza. I bet CRK would sell lots of them also. Congrats on the new acquisition.
Thank you! The Atlas is a great knife. From a design point of view I like the old Nomad better but this one has more functionality and offers a lot more knife for the buck!Nice image and handy carry combo you've got there. The Atlas is on my very very very short list to get.
The 3.25 inch shamwari is about the closest I have seen to a medium sebenza but the build quality is no where near the Sebbie.
Ill have to check that shamwari out. I dont own any sebenzas bc i just cant justify spending that much on a small one and the large, while a good size, i think would be a little hefty for my tastes. Maybe it carries well but i havent handled one yet. A medium would fit the bill for me if it was say 3-1/4" to 3-3/8" blade and under 4oz. We can hope right? All i have for now to hold me over is my spydiebenza...Sage 2 lol. Of course its closer to the small sebbie in size but was affordable in comparison.
They sure are, brother!

Lol I own sebenzas because I can’t justify the price of a shamwari!....but I’d love to own one!

Thats a sweet collection! Heres my sages.
Hey how does your sage 1 and 5 cf scales look comparing them? My 5 scales look much more flat/matte than my 1 which are shinier cf. Maybe they are different cf or my 5 is just worn as i did get it off the exchange. It does feel a lot more grippy/textured vs the 1.
Thanks for the appreciation.
The CF on those two models is indeed very different. My Sage 1's scales are textured, but the CF has a nice sheen to it, while the 5's is matte and grippy. The 1's scales are full-thickness CT over full liners and the 5's CF is laminated over G10 with nested liners. I have both versions of the 3 and the CF version is also laminated over G10 with a thick solid G10 back to oppose the bolt-lock. The CF layer on that one is glossy in a sorta checkerboard/lightning-strike combo. Something I really enjoy about the Sages is all the subtle differences amongst the models other than the locking mechanisms.
