I'm not sure why exactly, because in most ways it's just super basic, even compared to other Spydie's.

But I have to admit that the Stretch 2 has grown to be possibly my favorite Spyderco..

Hope the surprise did not come at a person's expense with a shock. Doesn't code require the "danger - energized electrical" mylar tape between conduit to grade?

Considering how much time it spent in my pocket it has held up very well! The tip did get broken but that's what happens when you work stuff.

Gray is electric. Blue or white is water , orange is gas. Black plastic coated Steel pipe is petroleum. But at least you got job security. The plumbers didn't know that gray is electric? Fools

My Deka got some new pants.

Slightly thicker and much sturdier than the original scales, this finally feels like a good, reliable knife. Now, how to paint/dye aluminum...

I agree completely. I wasn't a fan of the deka, until I replaced the scales. I carried this one today, while catching up on office work.
