EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Decided to appreciate the simple things today. VG10 Endura in orange FRN with an Industrial Heat deep carry clip from LynchNW. Love this setup!

Nice. I've got the same set-up except I bought the satin clip to match the blade and knife hardware. It's funny, I bought my Orange Endura and a Blue Delica for myself, and an Orange Delica for my wife quite a few years ago when Derrick put all his Spydies on clearance at KSF due to wholesale pricing issues. I honestly didn't care for FRN, back locks, or VG10, but those two models seemed like iconic knives that I should have in my collection and the price certainly was right. Over the years they became my Vermont woods and fields knives with their bright homing beacon handles and contrasting tails.

The Endura's blade seemed kinda chippy and fragile at first and I had to take it pretty far back to clean it up. I think I got back to better steel and it's been sharp as hell and much more durable since. Over the years I got to like it more and more as I tuned it up to free-drop to 90 to make it a more easily one-handed closer. I put the Lynch clips on my two last fall and the knives became real favorites. The Delica's a little small for me and I've been tempted by the FRN Endela, but honestly the Endura never seems too large for me. I might go for the KC HAP40 one in Pakkawood, though, to fill in with the same versions I've accumulated of the Delica, Endura, and Police. Who knew back when, huh?

You're absolutely right about appreciating the simple things, as I like these knives no less than any of my high-dollar pieces.

They do have tails here.. maybe it's some different breed of pembrokes?
I'm just repeating what my ex-wife (a self-appointed dog expert) told me. Maybe that's why she's my ex.

That said, I, too, hate both cropping and docking. Had a boxer as a kid and was heartbroken when my parents brought the pup back from the vet, bandaged and bloody and clearly in pain. Never forgot that, despite my parents' idiotic claim that the dog somehow liked the whole ordeal.
