The beginning of the storm a work mate was kind enough to send me a picture of my car as I was out in the storm in my truck starting my adventure 🤪

Hope my attempt at humor didn’t come across as self centered or arrogant. If so, I apologize. I know the struggles you guys are dealing with up there as I have a lot of friends and family spread across the north.

For what it’s worth, I probably hate the sun and heat as much as you all hate the snow and ice. I just wrapped up my 11th skin cancer surgery in the past 6 weeks (I’ve literally had hundreds, possibly thousands, since my first one appeared at age 24). Shit stings like a mother when I sweat.

Anyway, I know you’ve got a great sense of humor and hopefully weren’t offended, but if my post hit a sore spot with you or anyone else my apology is sincere. Wasn’t really thinking when I posted.

No no Matt it didn’t at all your a really nice guy I respect and like very much :) I’m sorry if my reply was perceived that way. I’m also so sorry about your health issue you’re dealing with and far greater than any weather conditions. I hope someday you won’t have to go threw that anymore.

For my friend, bigolegator bigolegator , another Benchmade today, though someone had mentioned the Crooked River the other day and it had me thinking about carrying mine.

I've liked this one a lot from Day One, but even more so since installing standoffs, as I both prefer open-back construction and thought the original orange backspacer was pretty cheesy anyway.
