It’s wet and chilly here this morning. Springtime weather here in the Old Dominion is a crap shoot. Sadly, I had to leave the warm stimulation of my coffee and the camaraderie of my dogs to walk my kid to the bus stop.

But hey, it’s Friday right?

So I grabbed an umbrella we keep on the porch. I was surprised to find a mama spider had left a few hundred of her kids in a couple spider egg sacs attached to my bright yellow rain shield!

Thankfully, I had my Emerson CQC7V-STW in my pocket! I had no fear of a slippery
grip - the G10 scales have an aggressive texture. I was sure in the knowledge that if I had to cut, scrape, saw or pry away the still-slumbering 8 legged invaders my tool would function brilliantly. So, I got down to business…

Mr. E’s tactical masterpiece made short work of removing the dreaded arachnid spawn bags and I soon found myself standing in the cold rain, waiting for the school bus!

Finally closed on our new house, so it's time to get to work on it; renovating, repairing, painting, and undoing some of the general jankiness of the previous owner's renovations. Luckily we still have a month or so before we have to move in.
