Congratulations on the new house. Luckily we still have a month or so before we have to move in.
It is pretty similar to one of those Old Timers, but made in a different way. The Old Timers have an abrasive coating on top of the base steel. These Gossman Survival Tools, made by Scott Gossman, are bare steel (Cryo-treated D2 at something like 64 or 65 HRC) and have the abrasive finish cut into the steel itself.

You guys are making me miss my Doberman. He was my dream dog growing up for many years and I was the happiest guy when I finally got him. I devoted a lot of time and energy in making sure he was well trained and behaved but he sadly ended up passing one night randomly at three years old. As much as I love them it’s left a scar on my heart and makes me question ever getting one again.Beautiful ! Give the puppy a hug for meReminds me of my Red Doberman.
