EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Titanium Tuesday with a small Sebenza.

Oh interesting! I can't quite tell if this is a homelab or work stuff. There's some mighty impressive stuff on r/homelab so you never know!

Oh yeah there's a nice knife in there, too. And to keep it on topic, I'm carrying one of the two weirdly good Migurons I now have. This one is the Koraki 2.
It’s actually work. I’m in the process of migrating all of my building automation systems from their own networks to one central. I’m not smart enough to do the software / data side but I’m a wiz with wire!

Oh how convenient, I need a good wiring overhaul on my rack at home! I can pay in pizza and high fives!

I'm no software doctor either, I just play one on TV (and read askubuntu posts and the arch wiki a lot!)

So, I finally tackled that tree in our side yard today. The short story is that after much prep, measurement, and figuring to get the 60-footer down within a 10-12 foot window between the rose bushes and the basketball hoop, the rope, snatch block, truck approach failed. Fortunately I had my notch and back cuts right, used three wedges and it fell right where we wanted despite having left too narrow a hinge. We got the scraggly upper branches cleared off, I bucked up the upper mains, J got the driveway cleaned up, and we loaded up what I'd cut to split and stock tomorrow--bucking and splitting 30' feet of 18" DBH bole to follow after. J will then be able to set up her new garden with all the plants she's started in the spare room upstairs.

The large Crooked River seemed an appropriate carry for today's tasks. This smaller upper branch split itself on impact...

Considering a preorder for a plain Ti iMamba…. I’m not doing anything until July 😃
African sporting creations has pre-orders shipping this month. I was considering one in green Kudu, but an Alan Davis popped up on the exchange at a price I couldn't refuse. I'll probably pick up an imamba next year. Between the Alan Davis and a custom I have on order, my knife budget is about blown for this year.
