How do you like that Viper EZ-Open? I have been pondering one of those, but not sure if I will like the detent system as opposed to a back spring.

I think the EZ open is a perfect modern traditional. The detent system is very pleasant to operate, the half stop is nice. I like having stand offs for the ease of cleaning. The M390 blade is well ground and perfectly centered. It’s definitely a knife I’m going to hold on to. I have zero complaints about it.
 
My lengthy post a page back was just playing catch up after missing several days and posting stuff from late last week and the weekend--the knife porn equivalent of make-up sex. :oops:

Today I worked here at the house on drawings and had my razor sharp, Keyman-enhanced 710-1401 with me. I ducked outside for pics just before supper and caught a bit of a chill as our Cape Cod Spring has been wildly mercurial this year with yesterday in the mid-60's and tonight headed for the mid-20's.
