One great thing about the knife hobby is everyone has different tastes so if you like the barrage as it came from the factory to each their own. Nothing wrong with that and as you mentioned it can easily be converted back and forth

Ah, but I don't actually like the knife assisted or not. I just prefer it assisted to sooth my poor old OCD. It's a very long story as to why I got the knife in the first place (used off a co-worker who tried to sharpen it with what looks like a chainsaw and got it for $60 CAN). However, in either configuration, it rarely gets carried anyway.

Took my CRKT for a ride today literally down some of my favorite back road twisties so I wanted to take a no worries small blade and it fit the bill .
What a beautiful ride today sunny 70ish and views were stunning !!
