It doesn't have a name. This is the work of a master from Moscow. The working title is "Finnish folding". A series of twenty knives. VANAX 37, G-10, titanium.

Continuing on with my Malibu obsession, I've been pairing it with a number of my small sheath knives. Just to keep things interesting.

I can't really answer that with any certainty. Maybe some of the newer ones are following the same trend as the Mnandis and will have the hole instead of the typical nail nick. Maybe the Damascus ones will have holes? I can say that I like the hole in the Rinkhals more than I did on the Mnandis. Being a slipjoint, I can get a very good purchase on the blade to open it with the hole design.
