She is beautiful. They have awesome noses when it comes to pheasant hunting.Hey thank you, she's a German Shorthaired Pointer, the only kind of dog I've ever had, they are amazing.
I like the scales and the deka! Still dont have any MC yet myself. Have you tried oiling the micarta? Might help with evening out the finish. The blue inlay is sweet and the compound grind of course!
Bonus is now you have rib tip meat too.I thought I had grabbed St Louis ribs but grabbed spare ribs instead. Crab trail changed that real quick. View attachment 2241064
Yessir. All pieces are on the smoker right now, along with a tri tip.Bonus is now you have rib tip meat too.
Can you please give me your opinion of how well made it is and does it have any steel liners. I couldn’t find any info on the liners, thank you in advance.Troy
Thanks, I thought she was a Pointer too, but my wife stubbornly said she was a Doberman. We decided to bet and write to you. Thanks to you, I won a knife. All that's left is to choose.Hey thank you, she's a German Shorthaired Pointer, the only kind of dog I've ever had, they are amazing.
Thank you, this helps in the biggest way. I have one on order and can’t wait to try it out. I didn’t know about the torx construction either. I always liked the design and wanted one, just didn’t want vg10 . Thank you again for your feedbackHey the Goddard is made in seki city so construction and build are good and similar to other Spyderco models from there. No liners so its nice and lightweight yet still plenty strong and rigid. The st nicks version has torx screws so the pivot is now adjustable and should be good to go for a full disassembly vs the older model (green one in the pic) which was fully pinned together as seen below. Only other difference I’ve noticed is the st nicks doesn’t have the swedge on the blade spine otherwise very similar and for the price point a good buy if you like the design. Hope that helps!
Anyone know what the knife on the left is?
WHERE is the drool “like” emoji?Yessir. All pieces are on the smoker right now, along with a tri tip.
