EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

So I went for a Deka, and hated the scales as much as I loved the rest of it, so I ordered some new ones. The results were... let's go with aesthetically suboptimal, but a functional improvement. Not sure what happened to the micarta, think it might be some sort of glue.

Going to run with it for now, at least it feels better. Also I had a surprising amount of difficulty reassembling it; not sure why, it isn't that complicated. Just took forever to get the pivot seated.

I like the scales and the deka! Still dont have any MC yet myself. Have you tried oiling the micarta? Might help with evening out the finish. The blue inlay is sweet and the compound grind of course!
