EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

A good way for you to remember the size of the Spyderco Police model. Here is mine in K390 stretching across the letters of my full size keyboard.

Believe it or not though, this knife disappears in my front pocket. Forget I am carrying it sometimes.
Carry a serrated K390 LW all the time. Really shows how carrying a "big" knife can be super easy, folks act like you need a support belt to walk around with anything with a blade over 3".

Funny, it's like the opposite of the original Police weight wise.

Nice! Just picked up the Plague Doctor, seems tight, does it loosen up with use?
I've got two SHF's, one bought new and the second bought on the Exchange as the third owner. The latter was a nicely re-sharpened PJ user in excellent condition with incredibly smooth and free action when I received it. The one bought new, my Northwest Coast Edition, did seem bit tight when I received it, but started to loosen up quickly and its action greatly improved after adding a couple drops of W10 NanoOil after it wore in just a little. The older one has had a lot more use than the other and all but free drops now. The NWC is still a little behind, but both knives are (dare I say it?) smoother and freer than any of the 9 CRKs I own, which are all pretty good, BTW, having been tuned and alternatively lubed.

I went with the AB iMamba today as I headed out late morning to get my ears lowered, stopping on the way home to pick up some prescription refills. Catching up on this thread while scarfing a late lunch I saw turtlelace9119 turtlelace9119 's post regarding the action of his new Plague Doctor and got out my two SHF's for comparison before sharing a few thoughts on how they broke in. That led to a kind of "two the same only different" afternoon with a pair of Ti frame locks that sport different steels, blade grinds, finishes, pivots, and opening mechanisms. While they're both smooth, quick, and extremely well-made they occupy contrasting stations along along the scale of weight and mass. Plenty of room here for all sorts of knives, though....
