15V isn't exactly the ideal steel for wading but I figured it would be OK long as I didn't fall in the water.

Thanks for the review, it's appreciated! I've seen a number of these, different materials and blade steels at Tools For Gents.

They certainly do have quite a few variations..... Pretty much can tick boxes on most wishlists....And Fox makes quality stuff.

How are you finding that flat combo blade? It's a model that I like.

I don’t have much experience with using a combo blade. Thought I would give it an honest try as well as try the Endela sized model. So far I’m pretty happy with it. There’s enough plain edge for slicing and it came shaving sharp from the factory. The serrations are what I expected from Spyderco, effectively aggressive and a little bit angry. The knife cuts very well and carry’s easy loose in the bottom of my carpenter jeans front pocket.

I usually carry atleast one slipjoint, but went with a throw back to my first CRK today, riding in the pocket solo. Pulled the clip and added a lanyard. The clip cover thing came in the mail yesterday.
