EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Love the non-flipper Hinderer 👍

Yesterday I carried my Kershaw Skyline in Alabama Damascus as my main knife. She sports Flytanium copper scales which I took to same sandpaper to smooth out the flats a bit so that the patina would come in with more of a shine. This thing sharpens up like a laser beam and I really like it. It would be one of my favorites, however it suffers from detent lash. Either Alabama Damascus, or Kershaw made the detent hole about 4 times too big on these (or at least mine) for some reason and therefore the blade hits the backspacer. I ground down the backspacer to where that doesn't happen much, however it still barely hits it. However, all said it's a great knife, and is cool to have a carbon steel modern flipper/thumbstud knife.

Yesterday's rain continued much harder overnight and today everything is soaked with high humidity. J got her walk in outdoors but I opted for the fan and AC in the home gym next door. In sport shorts and T I went for light and breast pocket friendly making it a Small Strizh Saturday morning.

If I head back over to the shop this afternoon to repair the deck chairs we kept when we sold the boat, I'll probably switch back to the Turtle I carried yesterday. I'm definitely in a Russki mood with something new-to-me inbound from one of our good members here.

Nice collection of pieces there man! Looks like you really just put those things to work too without worrying about scratches and the like. I really love seeing that. You're like the Honey Badger, you don't give a F! 👊🤙
Ha! Thank you. 👊 If they’re keepers I’m using them, or sometimes buy two of a kind - which can be challenging. I’m a big fan of the old and distressed look.
