EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

This is not my “best” knife. Not the prettiest, not the best steel, not the best action, not the best handle material. But in the everyday tasks of cardboard breakdown and food prep, this thing absolutely cuts better than my Protech Malibu (magnacut) and Pena Caballero (m390). Honestly the only folder I have that cuts as well is my PM2 in Cruwear.

Sorry for those that didn't, but glad you and yours made it through OK, my friend. There were four recent named storms in a row together that took really unusual tracks--the three before being well out to sea with that last that went your way, Idalia, soon following suit. The fresh North wind that changed our weather up here so dramatically saw to that and now seems to be extending all the way down to you.

Anyway, I'm still toting around and using my new-to-me Cheburkov Scout as I'm more than a little taken with it.

This is the first time in ages that I have carried all stainless steels. Buck 112 Pro in s30v and a Buck 630 in 420hc. This may be the last time I carry these knives, since finding out that these steels are too old to work and must be replaced with Magnacut. Have a good long weekend everyone.

Thanks for your thoughts and words my Friend…we got lucky and dodged this one for the most part. I’ve been through some really bad ones and lost property and possessions so I don’t take Mother Nature lightly.
