I know and just an old Tanto PM2 laying around in a cabinetGlad I got the memo for tanto Saturday?
I’ve received many such offers here. We must pay it forward!Very nice gesture my Friend![]()
Sweet knife! Gotta ask, what is it? Thanks.
Nice looking revolver. Is it a Ruger, I can't make out the markings. I don't know if I could pull the trigger on 8 rounds of .357 on a gun that size unless it was necessary, they can be brutal.
Great pictures! I always look forward to seeing your post. And nice pocket jewelry as well, lol. Then Friday we went on a bigger hike up to Rainier. We had visited this spot just a couple of weeks ago, but we enjoyed it so much we decided to return and explore further. Not sure how far it was or how high in elevation we got because much of the trail is unmarked and no longer maintained, but I know we were up there pretty far. The pics can't even begin to capture the scale of the place.
I could never tire of the prism effect on this waterfall.

The waterfall is where the hike ends for all the sane people, but we're heading above closer to the peak. We stopped to eat at a little meadow which was our stopping point last time, where we were greeted by a herd of mountain goats

Then we decided to head further up, the destination being at the end of the green vegetation in this pic

Behind us the view is absolutely breathtaking, with many of the surrounding peaks in view (Adams and St. Helens visible here, and you can just barely make out Mt. Hood in the center)

Ok, this is as far as we go. If I'm being honest the footing was starting to get pretty sketchy at this point

Now for the trek back down

The creek below the original waterfall provided the ideal spot to cool off

Back home got cleaned up, switched to the Manix2 and Vic Compact, had some fajitas for supper, then walked across the street to the park to watch the sun set on the mountain we had spent the day on

Still carrying the Manix this morning for now until I see what the day brings.
