EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Having a family reunion this weekend with our Cali branch of the tree (son, wife, grandson) here for a week, my RI son and GF coming tomorrow for the day, and our still on-Cape son hanging out too. My buddy came by for an hour or so to button up one open part of the roof and I thought I might have to help a bit so I grabbed one of my better work knives instead one of those I keep nicer. Turns out he told me to hang with my family and took care of the work himself, but I was still perfectly content to stick with the Turtle. Hope y'all are having as nice a weekend as we are here!

It is a Smith and Wesson 627-5, and at almost 2.5#, it is not difficult at all to handle 357 mag loads. Hand loaded 38 special is an absolute joy for the range, and the trigger on this one makes clearing plate racks as fast as with a semi auto. They make a 5” long version of this one as well.

Couple more pics of knives from today.

Duh, I should have recognized it by the cylinder release. Those markings on it confused me though. I don't remember ever shooting a 627 but it looks like a sweet shooter!

Hope the weekend finds y'all well!

Been taking knife pictures all week but haven't had a moment to get them up and post until this morning. Wednesday me and the boy went on a hike up to a stunning alpine lake 3,600ft up in the Snoqualmie/North Bend region of the Cascade Mountains

LoL I have one and I think it cost $22 on sale.
I've blown $20 much dumber ways.
Yeah, I'm a chump and paid $60 for this one, although I've seen them go for anything between $40 and $150 online or at gunshows. I'm not mad about it since I bought it from a local knife shop (an actual knife shop with an extensive and varied selection). Happy to support a small business.

It was an expensive decision since I'm now kinda intrigued by OTFs and will have to start saving for a Benchmade Shootout.
