EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Nice looking revolver. Is it a Ruger, I can't make out the markings. I don't know if I could pull the trigger on 8 rounds of .357 on a gun that size unless it was necessary, they can be brutal.
It is a Smith and Wesson 627-5, and at almost 2.5#, it is not difficult at all to handle 357 mag loads. Hand loaded 38 special is an absolute joy for the range, and the trigger on this one makes clearing plate racks as fast as with a semi auto. They make a 5” long version of this one as well.

Couple more pics of knives from today.

You too.
Hope the weekend finds y'all well!

Been taking knife pictures all week but haven't had a moment to get them up and post until this morning. Wednesday me and the boy went on a hike up to a stunning alpine lake 3,600ft up in the Snoqualmie/North Bend region of the Cascade Mountains

Awesome country
Then Friday we went on a bigger hike up to Rainier. We had visited this spot just a couple of weeks ago, but we enjoyed it so much we decided to return and explore further. Not sure how far it was or how high in elevation we got because much of the trail is unmarked and no longer maintained, but I know we were up there pretty far. The pics can't even begin to capture the scale of the place.

I could never tire of the prism effect on this waterfall.

The waterfall is where the hike ends for all the sane people, but we're heading above closer to the peak. We stopped to eat at a little meadow which was our stopping point last time, where we were greeted by a herd of mountain goats

Then we decided to head further up, the destination being at the end of the green vegetation in this pic

Behind us the view is absolutely breathtaking, with many of the surrounding peaks in view (Adams and St. Helens visible here, and you can just barely make out Mt. Hood in the center)

Ok, this is as far as we go. If I'm being honest the footing was starting to get pretty sketchy at this point

Now for the trek back down

The creek below the original waterfall provided the ideal spot to cool off

Back home got cleaned up, switched to the Manix2 and Vic Compact, had some fajitas for supper, then walked across the street to the park to watch the sun set on the mountain we had spent the day on

You have some great knives. You could leave them out and I would still enjoy your photos. I very much appreciate you sharing your outings with us.

It has enough mass to control the round. I bet the 5" version is just a pleasure to shoot
Driving to the store is sometimes an adventure. Cocobolo Sebenza on me today.

How deep was the water across the road?
