Brass bolster?

That thing came out amazing. I’m still waiting on my next Po’ boy do be done but I’ve begun to form the opinion that the Po’boye are just needlessly extra heavy.

They are beautiful but I am questioning the practicality.

Where did you get that Knucklebone, that’s the nicest one I’ve seen.

Off their website Aroundsquare. They get more purple the more you handle them too. I like the wood because the are light and have a texture unlike the others.

Brass bolster?
I’ve begun to form the opinion that the Po’boye are just needlessly extra heavy...

Yes, solid brass. Looks amazing, but scratches easily due to being relatively soft.

I never had any weight issues with a Ti bolster Po-boy, compared to a custom it's about the same... but these brass bolsters must weigh as much as the whole knife itself. I knew they'd be heavier, but I didnt think this much. They do look good though.

I think milling out pockets on the inside would help, but that's too much effort.

My current and upcoming poboys are both ti bolstered. It looks absolutely beautiful but I can’t get past the feeling that they are still essentially just two extra weights screwed onto the knife.
