Someone did a dye job on one and got grey stripes or something like that, and it looked nice.

The old smudge pot brings back early childhood memories. I was told that were magic and would never burn out. I remember playing with them and getting soot all over myself and getting in trouble.

They are probably illegal to own in California now and certainly cause cancer there.

It seems we share the same memories! That’s why I had to buy it when I saw it at a flea market a few years back.
