Update: The knife on the lower left is a XW Auto-Retractable Safety Utility Knife SX9602. It had been my favorite utility knife for the past few weeks. I had been looking for an auto-retracting blade because there are situations on the farm where I might get knocked down while I am trying to cut something and I could lose control of the blade. This XW had just about everything I was looking for except a pocket clip. It even came with sharp blades, unlike some utility knives. But as I was changing a blade this evening (which I had done several times before), something went wrong, and it became very difficult to get a blade back in. After fighting with it for maybe 15 minutes, I finally got the blade in, but now the action is very stiff and the auto-retraction does not work anymore. So tomorrow I will try a different utility knife. :-(
For me the knife is the main attraction, but what finalizes the package is the sheath. Gary has a way of molding them so they fit snugly even the curved pruner . Always nice to start on the right foot
