It's been in my pocket and in my hand while at my computer the past few days. The sale ended a few hours after I caught wind of it unfortunately. They sold almost everything they had in stock in a few hours. I've been lusting over the Socom Elites, and the Lightfoots for a decade and a half though, so I'm super happy about it.

Great score on the Socom Elite!! I’m almost glad I didn’t catch wind of that 50% off deal; sounds like a wallet killer. Not sure my family would’ve bought the whole “Santa has Covid and can’t travel” thing again this year.

But seriously, congrats on getting a piece you’ve been lusting for! Hope you enjoy it!

Haha, I might have to keep the "Santa has Covid" trick up my sleeve just in case I need it! Thanks man, I appreciate it! It's a super cool knife, it feels like it just wants to be carried everyday and used for all sorts of dirty jobs 🍻 🤙
 
I was in the gym most all day from before 8 AM to almost 4 PM by the time I got everything cleaned up and put away. It also rained all day, so I never got any pics of today's choice, so I'm back into the files again for something to post. I'd mentioned yesterday debating with myself over carrying the NeOn again or going with something else along the same modest, non-threatening lines. It came down to these three....

...and I settled on the 0940 for no particular reason, other than it's been some time since I've carried it.

My Klōtzli hasn't seen the light of day for quite some time, so I've been carrying it all this week. It features one of the smoothest washer pivots I've experienced. The blade centering was problematic at first but after a bit of fine tuning it's now happily dead centered.

Okay, so technically I can’t really say I “carried” this one today….but I did spend quite a bit of time with it. This big fella will be heading to our mountain home where it’ll be a little more comfortable in an EDC role. Not gonna lie, it looks a bit goofy paired with gym shorts and a tee.

Knives by AD (Adam Duszak) “Bull” #6 with mammoth tusk inlays, black hornbeam, brass and an Elmax blade.
